Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, reservations are highly recommended as our tours frequently sell out, especially on weekends and holidays. You can easily book online through our website.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Refundable tickets may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 3 hours prior to departure. Changes are not permitted within 3 hours of departure. Non-refundable tickets cancelled more than 24 hours prior to departure receive a credit toward a future sailing. Non-refundable cancellations within 24 hours forfeit all payments.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Accepted Answer

All tours operate rain or shine. Should conditions become unsafe at departure, Tropical Sailing may delay departure up to one hour. Light to moderate rain does not automatically cancel tours. Heavy rainfall covering most of the sailing area or expected to last more than half the tour may result in rescheduling. Sustained winds above 25 knots may require route changes or rescheduling. Tropical Sailing may modify routes and destinations for guest safety.

What should I wear/bring?

Accepted Answer

Dress comfortably for the weather. We recommend a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen (non-spray preferred), sunglasses, a hat, and a light jacket.

Are food and drinks included?

Accepted Answer

Guests may bring non-alcoholic beverages where permitted. Outside alcohol is prohibited. Beer, wine and beverages are available for purchase onboard. Cash bar only.
