Our Story
Tropical Sailing didn't begin with a fleet of luxury catamarans—it began with a passion for sailing. In the early 1990s, Captain Adam started by renting Hobie Cats directly from the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, introducing locals and visitors to the excitement of sailing South Florida's crystal-clear waters. What started as a one-man operation has grown into Tropical Sailing, one of South Florida's most recognized sailing companies.
More than 30 years later, our mission hasn't changed. We believe the best way to experience Fort Lauderdale and Miami isn't from a crowded sightseeing boat—it's under sail, with the ocean breeze, professional crew, and unforgettable views that only a true sailing adventure can provide. Today, Tropical Sailing welcomes families, couples, groups, and corporate events aboard our spacious catamarans for sunset sails, reef adventures, private charters, and celebrations of every kind.
